Should You Always Stand at 17 in Blackjack

Filed under: Funy Center, Gambling, Life Of Games — @ 10:37 am

Blackjack is a fun game enjoyed by many people in casinos and out of them. The basic rules are you have to beat the dealer or other players by getting 21, or simply as close as you can get. At times getting 21 or getting close to 21 can be hard.

There are certain rules where you are asked to stay at the card total you are at or are asked if you wish to be hit, basically adding another card to your total. The total of 17 can be hard to debate whether you should stay or you should hit. There at times when you can do both.

Blackjack is a game of chance and skill. Staying at 17 can at times hinder you or possibly help you. If you get a 4 or a 3 at 17 you could possibly win that hand. However, if you get a 10 or something larger you could not get close to 21 or bust as it is said because you have gone over 21.

Staying at 17 can be a risky or safe move on the part of the blackjack player. It takes careful thought on whether to stay or hit at 17. In either case, the player of blackjack must weigh out both options.
