Many believe that humans are special beings and do not belong in the same category or classification as animals. Should experimentation be done to prove that humans are unique or to show that they are in fact animals, just very well adapted and highly evolved ones? This topic of interest is nothing new and the subject came up in an online think tank recently. One of the researchers of the “Why Are Humans Unique Project” was rounding up some volunteers and stated:
“If you are sincere in conducting an experiment on the classification and isolation of humans to animals groups, I could help you gather and compile data for the analysis and we could post the results here.”
Then one think tank member stated; “I see no need to isolate humans from animals, as it is obvious that they are of the same over all grouping, just a different species of animal. Although it appears to me that the huge differences in “humans” themselves requires further scrutiny, as they are not all the same, some are vastly superior from what I can see in many ways and their capabilities are seemingly light-years apart in my observations.”
Thus it appears that not only is there a question of What Makes Humans Unique, but what makes some humans so much more unique than other humans? Interesting indeed. In fact in considering this perhaps you have noticed the big difference individual humans? And if so, what is your take on the whole thing? Consider this in 2006.
