Cosmetic Dentistry - Bonding

Filed under: Beauty And Skin Care Products, The Healthy Way — @ 4:27 pm

Dental Bonding is a technique by which a patient’s teeth are literally reshaped, as is in the case of enamel shaping. Unlike the latter procedure however, bonding is an additive process in which material is applied to damaged teeth then molded and sculpted into a natural shape. Both procedures fall under the category of cosmetic dentistry; however, bonding is also a form of adhesive dentistry.

A good candidate for bonding is someone whose teeth have been injured - chipped or cracked in the course of an accident, or worn down because of bruxillism (grinding of the teeth). Once the cosmetic dentisty professional has determined how to proceed and what reshaping must be done, s/he will apply a very mild etching solution - a weak form of acid - to the teeth which will create micro-crevices in the surface of the enamel. This is similar to what craftsmen and hobbyists do when using sandpaper in order to “rough up” the surfaces of two objects they plan to join together using a resin-based epoxy or cyroacrylate cement (”super glue”).

In fact, resin is exactly what the cosmetic dentisty practitioner uses in order to restore damaged and injured teeth. This is a particular type of resin specially formulated for us in cosmetic dentistry applications. This resin, which is colored to match the patient’s own natural teeth, is applied in several thin layers. The entire dental bonding procedure can usually be accomplished in one appointment over the course of two to three hours, unless the tooth damage in substantial. In cases requiring more serious dental reconstruction, the dentist will need to make a mold and create a temporary filling while a permanent one is created in a laboratory. This takes a minimum of two visits, but with proper care, the results can last up to eleven years.

Facial Hair Removal for Men

Excess body hair has been exasperating since a long time. People have always been in search for effective hair removal methods. It is awing to know the history of hair removal, however. People in the past used diverse techniques from rat poison to scrubbing hair with sand. Afterwards, people realized that applying something sticky on this hair and pulling it would remove excess hair. They have tried different material and came up with sugar. They began heating sugar till it becomes brown and dense. Then they spread it on the body and pulled it abruptly. This method set the basis for a common hair removal method today. Wax sheets were based on that very idea of sugar.

Hair removal has gained more viability and popularity than ever before, especially that even men are beginning to remove wanton body hair. Models and athletes now show their mighty physique hair-free. As a result, men began idolizing these prominent figures. Hair removal to women it is extremely paramount. Hair removal’s importance has gone as far as interfering with social acceptance. Moreover, people’s awareness increased towards hygiene. It has been proven that some excess hair might cause some diseases and bad odor. For example armpits and back excess hair stores some sweat, which makes these places good environments for odor-producing bacteria to thrive and produce bad sweat odors. Furthermore, excess pubic hair proved to transmit diseases during intercourse, because the coarse hair of such area makes it easy for bacteria to thrive.

What Colour of the Rainbow Are You?

Filed under: Beauty And Skin Care Products — @ 10:33 pm

Colour is everywhere we look, the red stop sign, green grass, orange construction hats, even that cute little purple number you picked out today. We see all this colour every day and never give a second thought to how it affects us. Everyone says things like “I love blue” or “I hate red” but no one stops to ask themselves why.

Believe it or not, colour has a deep psychological impact on us. Before reading any further, take a minute to decide, what is your favourite colour and your least favourite colour? With those in mind, read the following brief descriptions of what those colours symbolize.

Red:

risk, strength, lust, sex, passion, courage, instinct, survival

Orange:

adaptation, attraction, energy, ambition, success

Yellow:

intelligence, persuasion, confidence, joy, memory

Green:

prosperity, fertility, growth, luck, stability, abundance

Blue:

peace, health, patience, creativity, happiness, compassion

Indigo:

change, flexibility, psychism, wisdom, sleep, dreams

Violet:

power, spirituality, meditation, self-esteem, sentimentality

Depending on where you are in your life, your colour choices probably change quite a bit. It’s kind of fun to look back at the colour choices we have made in the past and relate them to things that were going on in our lives at the time.

We plan to profile a different colour each month until we’re through the list, so stay tuned for next month’s issue on red.

Give Thanks Damn It!

Filed under: Beauty And Skin Care Products — @ 1:50 am

Have you ever stopped to think how good you have it? I mean stopped and realized what we have in this country of ours? I know that the more you give thanks for what you have, the more you will be given to be thankful for!

You will open up the floodgates to heaven and God’s blessings will flow like the land of milk and honey. Just something simple, give thanks to God and he’ll reward you for the small amount of thanks that you gave him, and he in turn wants to bless you, but not if you don’t thank him for what you already have.

Now do you think this is true? If not why? I mean he is a loving God and he wants you to prosper, I mean you were born rich, it is just that you forgot that you reap what you so. If you need some new books to read give some olds ones away, this will open up the floodgates and more books will flow into your life.

If you need more money, just ask God, he says if you even have faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains, so what is the hold up? You don’t believe in your heart that you are worthy of such things? I say hog wash you are as deserving just as much as the next guy or gal, you just need to give thanks for what you already have and then and only then will you be given more, it’s a universal law.

It would be your best interest to follow it and learn it well because your future happiness might just be riding on this one small simple thing, and that is to give thanks for what you have now and then later God will reward you for the act of obedience. It seems so simple doesn’t it? Then why are not more people rich? Simple they can only see there empty bank account and they bitch because they do not have enough money; well that attitude will only push money away from you.

So a seed give some of that money away, even if it is only fifty cents, if that’s all you can afford, then this is good enough, the hard part of the whole things is this when your bank account is empty, you must thank God for all the money that is on the way! I mean praise his name, for the tidewater of money that is on the way sooner rather than latter you will get what you having coming to you, you reap what you so!

God also said that he owns the cattle on a thousand hills, do you really think he wants you to starve? I don’t think so, why are there starving people then you may be asking yourself? Good question, it kind of goes like this, there is enough to go around but the collective canorousness of man kind, doesn’t think enough of the starving kids in this world, they want that new car!

I bet you are saying to your self, what can I do? Well let me tell you one thing, you my friend can change the world, yes you can! What happens if you take a sandwich to a hungry homeless person?

You have changed his life, he is no longer hungry, Now you may feel this incognizant, but hold on there, if you help ten people and they help ten people, pretty soon we don’t have any Hungary children, do you see my point?

Mother Teresa died penniless, but guess what she changed the world, by dedicating her life to the poor, guess what see was just one small lady and look at the difference that she mad, now do you still think you can’t change the world?

It does not even have to be food; you could fix someone’s car. You have made a difference in there life, now do you see how this game is played out? Give thanks, I have a friend, very close friend and he has helped me on-line, and will this will open the floodgates of wealth for me, because both of us are working our ass off.

Get to the point will you dude, it’s simple he helped me out with internet stuff, he changed my life and I can tell you one thing I will not sit on it, I will give thanks and pass it on, cause I know you reap what you sow, so give thanks DAMIT! By the way thanks to Frank Garon for seeing something in me that no one else saw, and for that my friend I am forever thankful, I love you MAN, AND NO YOU CAN’T HAVE MY BUD LITE, THANKS BRO!
