A Sat Nav can be a very useful piece of technology when you are on the road. Whether you are going on a long trip or merely commuting to work each day, a high-quality Sat Nav is well worth the cost. Before you purchase a TomTom or one of the other satellite navigation unit, take your time to think about how frequently you will use it. If you only intend on needing it for family vacations, you will search for a much different product than you would if you aim to use your unit on a daily basis. Find a diverse selection of technology products such as; sat navs, dab radios and ipods from leading brands online.

If you are planning to be using your satellite navigation system primarily for family excursions where it is likely that you will have a co-driver to help you navigate, you probably do not need an item with voice identification. Your co-pilot will easily be able to push switches & enter directions whilst you concentrate on driving properly. Whereas, if you aim to use your GPS navigation system for individual business journeys it is advised to consider procuring a satellite navigation unit with speech identification. That way, you can go through towns and keep both hands on the steering wheel while entering or changing your intended location. The majority of brands of GPS systems, such as Navman, have units to buy both with & without voice functions.

Obtaining the most suitable satellite navigation system, can make a very long trip in the car tremendously more pleasurable for both you and your co-workers. Rather than a generic voice giving you instructions, a number of products come installed with amusing or well-known celebrity voices which you can pick and choose. If your family requires a short break at some stage in your excursion, a satellite navigation system can aid you in finding a good location to get something to eat and have a coffee. When you are all set to return to the road, your system will work out your route and get you back on the motorway without any concerns. No more fumbling with road maps and atlases each and every time you stop for a break.

For the traveller, a trustworthy Sat Nav system can without doubt save you plenty of time in the morning commute to drive. Many of the more pricey products deliver real-time traffic messages. If traffic is backed-up as a result of a smash or road works, your navigation system will propose an alternate route. These traffic statements can save you a considerable amount of time in traffic jams, therefore getting you to your work on time.

In spite of how you aim on using your GPS navigation system, there is a device available that will meet your needs completely. It is crucial to make sure that you investigate all your choices before you make your final decision. Your satellite navigation unit will be there no matter where the drive takes you.

The Federal Trade Commissions Consumer Protection Division now says that SPAM only accounts for 67% of the email you get instead of 70% to 80% and they are attempting to call this a victory? Although no one can confirm this as it is from a media source which accepted the Federal Trade Commission’s Public Relations “PR” piece, it seems that this is nothing to toot one’s horn over? The FTC says much of the reason for this is because SPAM filters in the private sector had gotten better? Yet I ask the question what does this have to do with the FTC’s work in the SPAM issue, as today we have to worry about IM.SantaGift.com; the famous Santa Virus Worm? Merry Christmas FTC, thanks for nothing.

The FTC citing a research data set from MXLogic said that SPAM was down over 9%; and again I say; “Well whoppie do? Yippie Skippy for the FTC hippie Team!” What a frigging joke? 9% is squat, you see since the FTC got onto the case they spent 6 months figuring out a definition for what SPAM was and it went up approximately 3000% judging from my email box. Is this our Federal Trade Commission at work? In their report to Congress I believe they not only misrepresented truth to further next year’s budget and make it look like they were doing something useful. I believe they should be disgorged from their ill-gotten gains of next year’s budget for deceiving the American People and the Consumer they claim they are protecting in the FTC’s consumer protection division, what a faade, a farce and complete hypocrisy? Give me a break! Think on that will you!

Home equity loans are a way of using the money that you’ve invested in your mortgage by borrowing against it. Essentially, a home equity loan is a ’second mortgage’ – a loan secured by your property. If you don’t make good on your payments, the lending company or bank can force the sale of your house to recover their money.

There are two major types of home equity loans – home equity loans and home equity lines of credit, also called HELOCs. Most lenders that offer home equity loans offer both kinds. A home equity loan for $10,000 and a home equity line of credit for $10,000 are two completely different animals though they have a lot of similar features.

Home Equity Loan

If you apply for and are granted a home equity loan for $10,000 at 7% APR for 15 years, you will receive a check or a deposit to your bank account of $10,000. That is the full amount of the loan that you can ever draw on that particular application. Depending on the terms agreed upon, you may have one to several months before you have to begin repaying the loan. You’ll pay a fixed amount every month until the full amount of the loan and the interest charge is paid off. You’ll know from the very start how much you’ll be repaying.

Home Equity Line of Credit

A home equity line of credit – a HELOC – is much more like a credit card. When you apply for and are granted a home equity line of credit, the bank establishes a ‘line of credit’ – which functions just the way that a ‘credit limit’ does on your credit card. You may receive special checks or a plastic card with which to access your line of credit – but you don’t receive the full amount at one time.

In fact, you don’t have to take any of it immediately. You can draw on the line of credit at any time, up to the full amount of the line of credit throughout the agreed-upon life of the loan. Suppose that you’re doing some home repairs. You can use your home equity line of credit to pay for $2,000 worth of roofing tiles. That leaves you $8,000 in your line of credit. Three weeks later, you can use your line of credit to pay for $4,500 worth of windows – and still have $3,500 left that you can borrow against.

If you then start paying back on your home equity line of credit, that money becomes available to you again. If you pay back $1,000 of what you’ve borrowed, you now have $4,500 on your line of credit.

A home equity line of credit has two ‘phases’ – there is the draw period, during which time you can draw against the credit limit as long as you stay below the limit. During that time, you can elect to only pay the interest that accrues – or you can make payments on the principal to free it up. Once the draw period is over, you go into the repayment period. During the repayment period, you can’t draw against the line of credit any longer, and must make full repayment.

Cheap Faux Wood Blinds – An Alternative to Wooden Blinds?

A cheaper alternative to wooden blinds are Faux Wood blinds. They look like wooden blinds but differ from them for obvious reasons. Cheap faux wood blinds are made of vinyl or a combination of wood and vinyl. They are becoming very popular.

These cheap faux wood blinds are nearly fifteen percent cheaper than wooden blinds. Still they provide the look and feel of wooden blinds.

Cheap faux wood blinds have lot of advantages. Some of which are as follows:

* Cheap faux wood blinds provide the look and feel of wooden blinds.

* Cheap faux wood blinds cost less than wooden blinds.

* Cheap faux wood blinds last longer.

* Cheap faux wood blinds do not warp. They do not fade or crack. * Cheap faux wood blinds do not retain moisture like wooden blinds. They are particularly good in areas where moisture is high.

* Cheap faux wood blinds are very durable.

* Cheap faux wood blinds come in various colors and tones.

* Cheap faux wood blinds also come with motorization and other options.

While cheap faux wood blinds have many advantages there are some disadvantages too.

They:

* Are one and a half to twice heavier than wooden blinds.

* Still do not have as much options to choose from as wooden blinds.

* Require more ladders to maintain rigidity because of their flexible nature.

* Have a tendency to yellow with the passage of time.

* Have size constraints.

* Cannot be stained.

* Lack the appeal of wooden blinds.

* Cheap faux wood blinds have a tendency to sag.

What to avoid in cheap faux wood blinds?

When you are looking for cheap faux wood blinds remember the following tips:

*Avoid very cheap faux wood blinds particularly the foam blinds. These blinds are flimsy, heavy and also require lot of ladders. They require much greater effort to set up.

*Faux wood blinds with fewer ladders look much better. So go for stronger blinds which require fewer strings for support.

*Avoid cheap faux wood blinds with cloth tapes. They obstruct the view.

Which cheap faux wood blinds are the best?

Go for cheap faux wood blinds made of vinyl and wood. They are the best. You have more options choose from. Cheap faux wood blinds made of vinyl and wood are stronger too as compared to other blinds and hence require fewer ladders to set up. They are better insulators. They may cost a little more but they are certainly worth it.

Almost all the leading manufacturers produce cheap faux wood blinds. Their quality is also improving over time and cost is not the only reason for their popularity. Some famous brands are are NuWood by Levolor, Woodwinds 2 by Comfortex, Woodmates and Everwoods by Hunter Douglas and Lake Forest by Graber.

Faux wood blinds are also called alternative woods, polywood and wood-like. Whatever be the name, cheap faux wood blinds are really becoming popular because of their low cost and improving quality.

Looking back on the year of 2005, I was reminded of some of my favorite video games of the year. I reviewed quite a few games this year for many regional newspapers. I’m going to share some of those games that stood out for the gaming year, 2005.

The Street Fighter Anniversary Collection was released earlier this year for the Playstation 2. This game is an amalagated version of all of the Street Fighter II revisions which is called Hyper Street Fighter and Street Fighter III: Third Strike.

The games offer an incredible amount of solid fighting action. Dreamcast owners hae likely played these games before, but on the current machines, (Now including the Xbox) it offers an engaging trip down memory lane. There are five versions of Street Fighter II. Hyper Street Fighter II lets you choose your favorite version of a character to play.

The downside is that the graphics show their age, and the TV resolution is quite dull, but it is still a solid and accurate package. On the PS2, there is a lack of online gameplay. The controls are pretty good, but an arcade stick would control alot better. Not a bad game for $30.

I give the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection a 3 out of 5.

Jeffery S. Miller is currently promoting his controversial work of fiction, Higgins: An American Story. Miller reviewed video games for regional newspapers for the year of 2005. Miller’s website is http://www.freewebs.com/jefferysmiller

A CCNA or CCNP candidate who wants to be totally prepared for their exams is going to put together a home lab to practice on. With used Cisco routers and switches more affordable and plentiful then ever before, there’s really no excuse to not have one!

With the many different models available, there is some understandable confusion among future CCNAs and CCNPs about which routers to buy and which ones to avoid. You can take almost any set of Cisco routers and put together a home lab; part of the learning process is taking what equipment you have available and putting together your own lab! For those of you preparing to start your home lab or add to your existing one, this article will list the routers I use in my Cisco pods. You certainly don’t have to have all this equipment, but this will give you some good ideas on how to get started.

The most versatile router you can get for your CCNA / CCNP home lab is a 2520. These routers come with four serial ports, one ethernet port, and one BRI interface for ISDN practice. This mix of interfaces means you can actually use it as a frame relay switch while using the ethernet and BRI ports for routing. (There is no problem with using a lab router as both your frame relay switch and a practice router; for a frame relay switch sample configuration, visit my website!)

My pods consist of five routers and two switches, and three of the five routers are 2520s, due to their versatility. A recent ebay search showed these routers selling for $99 – $125, an outstanding value for the practice you’re going to get.

I also use 2501s in my home labs. These have fewer interfaces, but the combination of two serial interfaces and one ethernet interface allows you to get plenty of practice.

A combination that works very well is using three 2520s; one as my dedicated frame relay switch, one as R1, and another as R2. Add a 2501 as R3, and you can have a frame cloud connecting R1, R2, and R3, a direct serial connection between R1 and R3, an Ethernet segment that includes all three routers, and an ISDN connection between R1 and R2 if you have an ISDN simulator. That combination will allow you to get a tremendous amount of practice for the exams, and you can always sell it when you’re done!

2501s are very affordable, with many in the $50 range on ebay. It’s quite possible to get three 2520s and one 2501 for less than $500 total, and you can get most of that money back if you choose to sell it when you’re done.

With four routers to work with, you’re probably going to get tired of moving that console cable around. An access server (actually a Cisco router, not the white boxes we tend to think of when we hear “server”) will help you out with that. An access server allows you to set up a connection with each of your other routers via an octal cable, which prevents you from moving that console cable around continually. For an example of an access server configuration, just visit my website and look in the “Free Training” section.

Access server prices vary quite a bit; don’t panic if you do an ebay search and see them costing thousands of dollars. You do NOT need an expensive access server for your CCNA / CCNP home lab. 2511s are great routers to get for your access server.

One question I get often from CCNA / CCNP candidates is “What routers should I buy that I can still use when I’m ready to study for the CCNP?” The CCIE lab changes regularly and sometimes drastically when it comes to the equipment you’ll need. During my CCIE lab studies, I found that renting time from online rack rental providers was actually the best way to go. Don’t hesitate when putting your CCNA / CCNP home lab together, wondering what will be acceptable for the CCIE lab a year or so from now. None of us know what’s going to be on that equipment list, so get the CCNA and CCNP first – by building your own Cisco home lab!

Very often SPAMMERS take advantage of catch-all email setup on webservers. Every email no matter what the recipients email address is will be caught by the default email account. It is highly recommended not to use catch-all email accounts and to discard SPAM send to non-existing email addresses. SPAM will clog up your SMTP server and consum resources like bandwidth and disk space in mailboxes. In most mail servers and web control panels (like cPanel) the user or admin can decide what will happen to emails with no existing recipient on the server. Refuse to the let emails onto the server and to let the sender’s mail server deal with it (option: “:fail:”) or to accept these incoming messages but then to delete them right away (option: “:blackhole:”.

Our conclusion:

:fail: is the preferred option over :blackhole:.

The :blackhole: option accepts everything sent to the domain mail server and then throws away the email going to a non-existing email account. This option uses the full amount of bandwidth, and also requires that the server be reading and writing messages to disk before they are deleted… multiply this by 1,000 messages a day or so and you can imagine the impact onto your server resources. Imagine your an email address from your domain (a non-existing one) has been spoofed to send out SPAM messages that even carry a virus. Most natural many of these messages will bounce back and hit your mail server. Your web server would have to deal with thousands of attachments at a time. Performance will go down – no matter what.

:fail: stops emails send to invalid recipients from entering the mail server in the first place..Exim will reject each message during the smtp handshake conversation – therefore the actual email message will never make it to your server. It is being refected from entering your system and the sender’s email server has to deal with the stuck message. This option is also the better one for legitimate emails where the sender has actually mis-spelled the recipients email address. He would get a bounce message informing him so that the error can be corrected. Depending on your hardware – a server can handle many more :fails: than it can do :blackholes:.

The judges ranking and their score for the OD are in parentheses.1) Belbin/Agosto (2, 67.54) It is quite ironic that after spending all season complaining bout how much I dislike this program that I am ranking it first at worlds. But I feel they were the clear winners of the OD. They attacked this program and nailed everything. I got a good laugh at the British Eurosport’s commentators trying to find something about this performance to criticize and coming up with ‘Their arms weren’t always in perfect unison,’ because if that is the biggest problem with any program, it was obviously skated fabulously. The Charleston and quickstep were arguably the best of the night, and their foxtrot was almost up to the level it was four seasons ago. The choreography still is not very good, but their performance overcame that and made you forget about the it.2) Navka/Kostomarov (1, 68.67) This is by no means a bad program, but it is also not a great program. Both the quickstep and foxtrot were done well, but not amazingly so. Still, the transitions are 1000% better than they were a season ago, making this actually looks somewhat like a dance program, instead of a pairs program with dance elements. And how can one not give them points for their extremely original musical selection of “Sing Sing Sing”? But as neither the difficulty level nor the interpretation was up to the level of Belbin/Agosto’s, they deserved to place second.3) Chait/Sakhnovski (5, 61.19) After placing 3rd at the GPF in the OD, I was crossing my fingers that their placement would be the same here. Unfortunately, the judges failed me. They, unlike the teams directly below them, had great interpretation of the rhythms and skated without any mistakes. And their energy level, as always, was ridiculously high. Plus, their skating skills, while not quite as good as the skating skills of the very best in the world, have improved so much that they should challenge those other teams.4) Denkova/Staviski (4, 62.79) Awkward OD interpretation, but thy did skate all out. Their skating skills – and the fact that they too did not mess up, held them above the other teams here. Still, this OD is very forgettable.5) Delobel/Schoenfelder (6, 60.25) Had Isabelle not made a small mistake on the sbs footwork sequence, they would have been challenging the top teams. Unfortunately, she did. Isabelle has nice interpretation, and even Olivier seems less lifeless than usual. Plus, the choreography is superb. The only other problem is that they are slightly off-beat for part of the foxtrot.6) Grushina/Goncharov (3, 63.17) This program has many of they same weaknesses as B/A’s does, which should not be a surprise, considering it is basically the same program. (Morozov’s creativity or lack there of has sunk to a new low for “his” programs for G/G this season.) But unfortunately for them, they do not have B/A’s technical strengths and charisma. Elena is lovely as always; Ruslan is dull as always. And I’m still waiting for them to finish their sbs footwork. Somebody needs to go out and push them during any footwork sequence.7) Domnina/Shabalin (7, 58.86) These two probably had the best foxtrot interpretation of the season. It was graceful, musical, and truly brought the classical foxtrot to the ice. They even made their dance spin seem foxtrot-y. The sbs footwork didn’t seem very powerful, and their twizzles, while miles better than many of the other team’s, were a bit shaky. The quickstep was okay.8) Dubreuil/Lauzon (8,58.30) Argh. The foxtrot and quickstep sections were extremely well-interpreted and the whole dance was extremely cohesive for a combination OD. But the sbs footwork was a complete and utter disaster. It got messed up about 1/3 of the way through, and they never quite got it back on track. There was a little to much of time spent not touching each other. And their Charleston was a bit awkward in places. Plus, why are they miming holding umbrellas? Isn’t the whole point of “Singin’ in the Rain” that one is singing in the rain, and not covered by umbrellas?9) Faiella/Scali (9, 56.13) Their stroking has improved dramatically. Their twizzles still aren’t very good. And they didn’t really seem to truly get either rhythm, especially the quickstep. But technically, it was a strong program, and they had good energy as always,10) Wing/Lowe (10, 52.52) They start off with a nice, although slightly dull, foxtrot. And then they transition into a nice, but slightly dull Charleston. I normally really like this team, but this performance seemed to lack energy. They don’t have the technical content of the teams above them.11) Fraser/Lukanin (13, 48.82) Their speed and polished has dramatically improved. Very nice foxtrot expression. They spend a little too much time apart. They had nice musicality too.12) Kerr/Kerr (11, 50.71) There’s still a fairly sizable gap between her skills and his, although he has improved. They have nice foxtrot expression. Theirs twizzles in the sbs footwork was very messy towards the end. Their quickstep was fine, but not quite as good as the foxtrot.13) Gregory/Petukhov (12, 50.22) I got the advice to only watch him, not her, and I enjoyed them much more than usual. Interpret that as you want. Of course, then I missed the mistake she made on the twizzles during the sbs footwork, which also lacked flow. Decent Charleston expression. Too much stroking in foxtrot section.14) Kulikova/Novikov (14, 48.72) She did best with the quickstep, while he shone in the foxtrot. Second quickstep had very little traditional quickstep character. They had a slightly messy quality overall.I did not rank the rest of the teams.Hoffman/Elek (17, 45.34) They start with a foxtrot, which was absolutely lovely and really captured the rhythm. The quickstep was very good too, but did not quite work as well as the foxtrot. And somebody needs to teach Atilla to twizzle, because I’m sick of him messing those up, as he did on the sbs footwork. And then he had trouble lifting Nora on the final lift, although a portion of that can probably be blamed on her 472346 pound dress. But overall, this was a very nice OD.Gudina/Beletski (18, 42.85) They start off with an enthusiastic Charleston. But the foxtrot was dull, with little difficulty. And unfortunately they could not pick up the energy level with the final quickstep section, to Dancing Fool of all songs.Watanabe/Kido (15, 46.57) A very good and in-character quickstep. Diagonal footwork could flow better. Their foxtrot was good, but not quite as in character as the quickstep. He has some trouble with the last lift.Grebenkina/Azronjan (16, 46.02) Great energy, and their movements are very dance-y and fit the quickstep well. Their foxtrot is to extremely odd music – just a rhythm and no melody. But they end with another well-done quickstep section.Beier/Beier (20, 41.66) Very cute and charming, with a good ballroom interpretation of the rhythms.Kauc/Zych (22, 40.92) Fabulous foxtrot expression. Twizzles during sbs footwork were messy. Basic skating is very good. This program lacked the falls that their programs usually have, but it also lacked the energy and attack. Their quickstep expression is also very nice.Pechalat/Bourzat (23, 40.71) They start with a very charming and well characterized Charleston. But she takes a bad fall during the sbs footwork. Their musicality in the foxtrot was good, but the choreography wasn’t very ballroom. They fixed that during a great quickstep section.Yang/Gao (19, 42.67) Decent foxtrot. She hits a lovely position during the lift. She’s very charming. Charleston is nice too. He looks to have trouble rotating the final lift.Golovina/Voika (21, 41.57) They start with movements that seem to exaggerated for the more subtle foxtrot rhythm. But they still have good musicality and energy. Decent quickstep, but again the movements don’t fit the rhythm very well.Munana/Munana (25, 36.31) As sick as I am of Chicago ODs, this one was great. Both rhythms, especially the Charleston, were interpreted fabulously. Both skaters sparkled. They clearly do not have the technical ability of the top teams, but if they can ad technical content in the future, they most definitely will be contenders.Akimova/Shakalov (29, 31.35) Very polished, but little else going for them. He tripped on the sbs footwork. Diagonal footwork is . Their musicality is pretty good.Aureli/Vaturi (24, 38.66) They start off with a lot of dancing in place. They have somewhat poor ice coverage on the sbs steps. But they have a good understanding of both the quickstep and foxtrot. Unfortunately, they really lack in technical content.Haunstetter/Hoenlein (27. 33.00) Chicago. Again. But they have a very good Charleston, and his foot position during the lift was fabulous. Ugly and out-of-sync twizzles. The rest of the sbs wasn’t much better. They looked like they were skating two different programs during the sbs steps. He is terrific.Buck/Nelson-Bond (28, 32.85) Good Charleston expression. Pretty good speed through diagonal footwork. She hits great positions in their lifts. Their weakness seems to be basic skating. They also had unison trouble on the sbs footwork.Keller/Keller (26, 33.23) Really weird Charleston music. Decent musicality. Their program is very empty. They also lacked energy. Their quickstep expression was the best of the three rhythms.Galcheniuk/Krupen (30, 28.14) Most of their skating is decent. Their programs aren’t empty, and their musical interpretation is okay. Plus, they have nice energy. Unfortunately, nothing about their skating is anything better than decent, especially their basic skating.Care to Ice Dance?

There are tens of thousands of websites offering free online games for those who want to have some fun online or find friends online. Don’t believe me? Make a simple search through your favorite search engine and you’ll see the vast amount of websites offering free online games. Finding friends through online games is easy and simple because you get to understand each other while playing games and connect with each other through the website’s chat or communicate function available right there in the website.

Although not all online games website requires you to sign up in order to play their online games, some websites do require a simple sign-up. The information that you input into the online games website will become your member’s profile. Other members will be able to view your profile. Your likes, dislikes, favorite games, favorite movies, location (not address, please. Never enter your complete address online, anywhere), and personal characteristics will help you find friends through online games.

Engaged in a competitive battle with each other, you are in a better position to gauge the kind of person that your opponent is, for instance, is he/she an aggressive person? Is he/she a strategically-minded person who is capable of planning everything from scratch? What is his/her favorite character and how does he/she use that online game character to his/her benefit?

The reason why finding friends through online games is easy is because there are forums and chat rooms that online game fans can use to connect, share tips, communicate, make alliance, and chat with online. They share a common interest, a common goal…and the online games that they like become the foundation for their friendship. Not only do they battle it out playing online games but they essentially turn into friends after chatting and communicating with each other.

It’s also safer finding friends through online games. Because the common interest is online games, basically, they just want to have some fun online and not lurk around endangering the lives of others. Although we should still be careful about revealing too much of ourselves online, we generally feel safer when we make friends through online games.

You not only make new friends through online games, you can also connect with and play online games with your friends without having to visit an internet café. Even if your friends have gone to college or are working elsewhere in the world, you can still log on at the same time and enjoy a couple of hours of fun, unbridled fun through online games.

Diamond and Gemstone Rings are both beautiful and unique. There are so many styles, cuts, and weights that is hard to choose just one. Let’s take a look at what a diamond is and briefly discuss what gemstones are. We can then progress to discussing diamond rings and gemstone rings or any combination of the two.

A diamond is the hard substance known. Diamond rings symbols of everlasting love and affection. Many men become overwhelmed when they go to purchase diamond and/or gemstone rings. There are many styles, band widths, and settings. The size and weight of the stone is also something that will play into the decision, but I digress.

Here is a quick overview of ring settings. Settings are defined as the manner in which a stone is place on a ring. An example of a setting is the traditional solitaire was engineered by Ifanes. It is a single diamond set in either a four or six pronged mounting high above the band. This allows the most light to refract in the stone. This setting is also very easy to clean and is also less expensive than other settings.

Another setting is the Diamond Accent setting. The stones used are smaller. The Channel Street Baguette style are stones set into the band that accentuates a center stone.

Gemstone settings are basically any setting with a combination of diamonds and other precious stones. The colors of the other stones enhance the beauty and sparkle of the diamond (i.e. rubies, emeralds, or sapphires). One way to do this is put a diamond in the center with the birthstones of the couple on either side. Later if children come along their stones could be added as well. Gemstones rings can be made with almost any precious stone such as Fancy Gems, Sapphires, Topaz, Emerald, Black Onyx or a Ruby.

The Truffle setting usually accompanies a three stone ring where a large stone has a smaller stone on either sided and is a design where loops on each of the stones connect the stones together. There are many combinations of metals, diamonds and gemstones that can be created. You need to decide what you want and what you can afford and come up with the perfect ring.

Both gemstones and diamonds can be cut in round, rectangular, or oval. Shapes such as hearts or diamonds are also used particularly in gemstones. Almost anything is possible.
When choosing a diamond ring or a gemstone ring you should consider your budget bearing in mind that taxes, insurance, and warranties will add to the cost of the ring. The likes and dislikes of the person who will receive the ring is crucial to your decision. For example you see this exquisite diamond ring that has the birthstone of the person to whom you will give the ring. It so happens that the ring is in your price range. Right next to it is a very simple diamond in a solitaire setting and it is very pretty.
Now you think the more exquisite one is perfect and you purchase it. When you give it you can’t help noticing a look on their face that you can’t explain. Later it is explained to you that simple designs are more the persons style so you return the ‘gaudy’ ring for the simple solitaire one.

So think about your budget. Think also about the recipient do they wear jewelry and if so is it simple in design or are they more the type that loves ornate pieces. Know that for the most part your choice will be gratefully accepted. Good luck!
